Finnish green lentils are a nutritious and versatile source of plant protein that is perfect for soups, stews, salads and vegetarian dishes.
- Lentils are aromatic and retain their structure well when cooked.
- It is well suited as a side dish, similar to rice. We especially recommend using it with Finnish grain rice (oat, spelt or barley pearls).
- Also suitable for soups, sauces and veggie patties. Feel free to experiement!
- The lentils are grown in Finland at the Impola plant farm.
- No pesticides are used in cultivation.
- Because the lentil is grown in Finland, it is not a true du pyu lentil. This name can only be used for lentils grown in the du pyun region of France. However, the variety is the same.
